Back to school.
So much stuff to talk about, no opportunity to do so.
Let's start off with this quote I heard from the radio, “羡慕就是无知，模仿就是自杀。"
Now I dunno what to say. Fantastic. Feeling very fragile right now. Especially when you read two books that suddenly become so close to you, and people just die. At the height of your excitement, your fun, your joy, then the closest person to you is taken away. Snatched away by the cruel arms of death.
And the stories make sure you feel the same too.
Bridge to Terabithia is a really nice book. Very close to our daily lives. Our school lives. A story about friendship, about courage. Simple, yet touching. (Thanks to my limited vocab, I can't do much justice by describing it so go read the book yourself)
Back to school after a short break (which I thought the teachers forgot to give any homework). I'm so looking forward to the EoY holidays. Slack at home doing nothing. Being bored to death and stuff.
That thought just tells me OIP isn't worth going to. I mean like. We all need a break. And then we go destroy it by going overseas for some school-based activity. Sure it'll be fun, but that ain't a break. That's a school trip which means you're there for a purpose and you're supposed to learn something. I want to take a break from learning. All this learning. What's the purpose behind it, to make us the smartest creatures before the destruction of the universe? What good would that do? If you say, to make the best of the days before the destruction of the world, I suppose that's a good enough answer. So make us suffer for the first 20 years of our lives then let us enjoy. But no that isn't what happens.
Countdown to EoY hols? 85 days including weekends and holidays. Doesn't seem too long anymore.
